VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby with garnet reflexes, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS: sundry smells(wood, mentholated), spicy(clove), toasted, fruity(blueberry marmalade), flowery(dry rose); a good nose

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS: a mouth of an aged red wine with softness and the dryness of the tannin

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION:  beaf steak underdone

MY PERSONAL OPINION: the nose is like a player with class, but the mouth is like a hard player, a strong midfielder. In brief, we are deal with a good team for Europe League, but far from taking part in Champions League

CABERNET SAUVIGNON – CARDONAL RESERVA – VALLE DEL MAIPO –  TERRAVIN LTDA. – CARDONAL ALTO – PARCELA N° 4 – HUELQUÉN – PAINE – CHILE           2004   14%

VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS: fruity(bueberries marmalade, cherries jam), spicy(white pepper), herbaceous(walnut husk), flowery(blue rose); At the nose, you keep astohished for the agreeable succeding of scents of great quality

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS: at the mouth, it is built up thanks to a softness and a robustness that with the right acidity make it balanced

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: beef steak with nut sauce

MY PERSONAL OPINION: at the nose, the two scent concentrates (recipe and wine) are jointed in unison; the salivation of the meat contrasts the softness of the wine; the wine persistence counterbalances the meat persistence

VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS: herbaceous(green pepper), sundry smells(wood), spicy(vanilla, cinnamon), fruity(red fruit), flowery(orchid)

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS :  a good range of scents at the olfactory analysis which stimulates the olfactory curiosity of the wine-taster

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: grilled haunch of pork

MY PERSONAL OPINION: a good cabernet sauvignon which matches to a meat not so demanding. Countryside, rain, wind of north that give us autumn leaves scent for the goal of appreciating our barbecue in a sort of wintertime

VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby, quite flowing

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : fruity(raspberries, blueberry), herbaceous(wood wet leaves, wet grass),  flowery(violet, geranio); a good range of scents at the olfactory analysis which stimulates the olfactory curiosity of the wine-taster

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : almost balanced at the mouth and good to drink; the final is with fruit and correspondent at the nose

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: pasta with nuts sauce

MY PERSONAL OPINION: a pleasant wine at the nose and at the mouth. Ideal for a first dish with meat or a pasta with a quite marked sauce

VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby, quite flowing

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS: fruity(green fruit), herbaceous(undergrowth, humus), flowery(red rose); at the nose, it is enough to fulfill all the parameters that are required

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : the sweet final matches this wine to a meat appetizer

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: barbecue of red meat

MY PERSONAL OPINION: after a cold day, we have found the right companion for a supper with meat

CHARDONNAY – DON CARLOS – VALLE DEL MAIPO –  TERRAVIN LTDA. – CARDONAL ALTO – PARCELA N° 4 – HUELQUÉN – PAINE – CHILE         2005   13,7%

VISUAL ANALYSIS: quite limpid(petillant), straw yellow, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : herbaceous(grass), fruity(lemon, tropical fruit), flowery(daisy); an acceptable nose

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : a balanced mouth with a tropical fruit final; good persistence and well-made

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: spaghetti with cream and fish

MY PERSONAL OPINION: it does not have the friendly touch of other chardonnay, but it becomes tasty for its characteristics of home-made wine

VISUAL ANALYSIS: quite limpid(petillant), intense straw yellow, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : fruity(banana), sundry smells(butter, honey), herbaceous(camomile, tea),    flowery(dandelion); A nose quite ample and typological

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : a good mouth even if the softness of the nose is not present at the palate; the final is just a little bitter due to the fact that it wants to underline the use of the wood

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: baked reineta pie

MY PERSONAL OPINION: a good tertiary at the nose with scents really appreciable that are following in the mouth and give you a final tendentially bitter for the barrique’s passage
