VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, intense ruby, quite thick
OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : fruity(blackberries, wild fruit, dried cherry), herbaceous, sundry smells(wood, mentholated), spicy(black pepper), flowery(rose); it is perceivable a strong alcoholic sensation at the nose together with a range of scents which is composed of olfactory points instead of clear aromatic signs; it is just perceivable some herbaceous odours, but there is nothing about green pepper
GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS: at the mouth, it is a heavy and strong wine, the final is with wood and wild fruit; it sounds like a syrah more than a cabernet sauvignon
WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: sipping wine
MY PERSONAL OPINION: a wine which is not able of keeping awake the taste bud. If it was a movie, I would walk out the cinema in the middle of the time, not for the plot, but only because it does not thrill me

VISUAL ANALYSIS: limpid, ruby, quite flowing
OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : intense, complex, fine
DESCRIPTION : fruity(raspberries, blackberries, wild strawberries), spicy(vanilla), sundry smells(sweet wood), flowery(violet, geranium); at the nose, it is quite open and demonstrates a certain normality in the perfumes
GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : at the mouth, it is a wine characterized by its tasty seeing that the persistence is more like a white wine than a red one
WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: sipping win
MY PERSONAL OPINION: a wine which, in spite of the elevated alcoholic grade, is discreetly approachable at the mouth and easily appreciable even if it is heavy. If this merlot came to give an universary exam, I would pass it not for its intelligence but for its perseverance in the study
