WILD FERMENTED CHARDONNAY – AMARAL   LEYDA VALLEY – CHILE    VINO DE CHILE   PRODUCIDO & EMBOTELLADO EN CHILE POR VIÑA AMARAL – AV. ELIODORO YAÑEZ 2962 – PROVIDENCIA – SANTIAGO – PROPIEDAD DE MONTGRAS  2007  14,5%

VISUAL ANALYSIS: crystal clear, intense straw yellow, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : herbaceous(grass, ivy, camomile), fruity(pineapple, green apple, unripe banana, citric), mineral, distinct scents(butter, green wood, cream), heterous(soap),  flowery(wisteria, flowers, daisies, white rose); a fantastic nose which takes out consequently new scents; the fruit and its flowers seems that never end

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : at the gustative analysis, there is a good mineral sensation and the correspondence between nose and mouth is spectacular; the persistence is good and the body of the wine possesses a considerable structure; the finale is with mineral, herbaceous, green peach and citric

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: fried fish

MY PERSONAL OPINION: a reserva chardonnay which demonstrates behaviour at the olfactory analysis with an ample range of options as concerns fruit and flowers; at the gustative analysis is almost perfect in all its parameters; it has been made a good work in the vineyards and in the wine-cellar; compliments to the winemaker and his collaborators

SAUVIGNON BLANC – AMARAL   LEYDA VALLEY – CHILE    VINO DE CHILE   PRODUCIDO & EMBOTELLADO EN CHILE POR VIÑA AMARAL – AV. ELIODORO YAÑEZ 2962 – PROVIDENCIA – SANTIAGO – PROPIEDAD DE MONTGRAS  2007  13,5%

VISUAL ANALYSIS: crystal clear, straw yellow with greenish reflexes, quite thick

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS : fruity(green apple, pineapple), herbaceous(grass), flowery(flowers); there is not a big range of scents at the olfactory analysis

GUSTATIVE ANALYSIS : at the gustative analysis, it is almost with asperity for a small excess  of herbaceous; the acidity is too much supported; the end is so herbaceous that seems to masticate the grass

WINE-FOOD COMBINATION: antipasto di frutti di mare (Italian dish)

MY PERSONAL OPINION: a sauvignon which lacks of its own typical scents as for example the tomate leaf but the herbaceous confirms its presence at the gustative analysis accompanied by a very noticeable acidity that makes it perfect for the combination with shellfish
